I have a fresh install of TrueNas and followed the tutorial to create a SMB share on a Dataset as described here:
www.truenas.com
After doing all these steps I can indeed navigate to the folder:
\\TRUENAS\smb via Windows explorer and create a text file with right click add.
But when I try to open the Text file I get a prompt stating:
"\\TRUENAS\smb\test.txt" cannot be opened:
Folder "\\TRUENAS\smb\" doesn't exist.
The odd thing is I navigated to it and see the file in the explorer... I've recreated it on numorous occasions and reinstalled TrueNas Core as well (still in the discovery phase so this is an option).
I'm missing something easy I reckon.
