SMB Share ACL Editor - Missing Groups

I'm trying to set up a new SMB share with new groups. I've made the group and made the share. When I edit the ACL to add a group I made, the group is not showing up in the drop down as a choice. The group is in /etc/groups though, so I'm confused.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The drop down wasn't populating right, but I stepped away and thought for a bit...typing the name in worked. I was worried it would fail validation, but it didn't.
