SMB Multichannel in Truenas Scale?

Setting Up SMB Multichannel

The screenshots there show that the server has 2 IPs in the same subnet (as you would expect with a windows server configured for SMB multichannel or really SMB anywhere except Truenas that blocks you from having multiple IPs on the same subnet).

Am I missing something? I *really* dont' want to configure multiple subnets between servers and the client PCs. SMB is also pretty much the only service running on the box.

Or is this LACP + multichannel with mutiple aliases on the LACP?
