Smart monitoring

How often should I use smart reporting? what type of scan should I be running? My setup is for my home. I dont think I need to be as aggressive but I do want good monitoring. I'm using Z3

There are a lot of opinions but I prefer daily short tests on all drives and once a weekly test on all drives.
