Hi, I have an ASUS C60M1-mITX with 16GB of RAM all configured with freenas, installed on USB pen drive and one or two zfs in mirroring disks. I did a dile transfer test and the maximum speed from ubuntu is 34mb / s and windows 55mb / s. I have a gigabit network and on the same ubuntu the transfer is fixed at 110mb / s. How is it possible? Depends on what? Sorry for the translation, but I used google translator thanks in advance

Test your network speed using iperf going both directions.

Try turning off hostname lookups.

How do I disable it? I installed freenas from scratch for the first time. Shared a hard drive created by a user and given permissions. SMB and ZFS. I tried both with mirror and without

There is a checkbox under "Services" -> "SMB". I'm honestly grasping at straws here. Most likely your speeds are limited by your NIC and CPU.

The network adapter is gigabit. The CPU is a bit old but I do not need to do virtualization. Only file sharing. At the maximum Plex base with 1080p files nothing of that. Say the motherboard is not powerful enough. And yet it has a gigabit card, strange. Tried disabling hostname but did not change anything. Do you think it's a sheda mother problem? Although it's strange that from windows 55mb / s and ubuntu 35mb / s

RealTek NICs use the CPU (inefficiently) for all gigabit processing. Intel NICs offload more work and can easily run at full speed with minimal loading on the CPU.

Part of the reason RealTek NICs are so cheap.

I masked my mac address. But let's say at least get 55mb / s, both on ubuntu (linux in general) as it is now on windows. Thank you very much for helping. Possibly a motherboard to always replace it with ddr3 M-itx to take advantage of 16gb ram.
