Hello guys,

Please help me, I have a problem with my Truenas Core and I can't find a solution.
My network setup is like this:
Pfsense with vlans:
VLAN 30: Truenas on HP microserver gen7, PCIE NIC with 2 ports 1gb on lagg LACP
UNRAID on another HP microserver, 2 ports 1gb lagg LACP the same as on Truenas
MiniPC Asus
VLAN 10: one iMac and other devices
The switch is an HPE 1920-24G

Inside VLAN30 everything works fine, iperf3 reports 1GBytes between the 3 machines
In Pfsense I have rules to access the Truenas and Unraid from VLAN 10, everything works fine between iMac and UNRAID and between iMac and Asus, iperf3 reports 1GBytes both ways between these machines.
My problem is between the Truenas and iMac, iperf3 -s on iMac and iperf3 -c on Truenas reports 1GBytes but iperf3 -c on iMac and iperf3 -s on Truenas reports KBytes

[ ID] Interval Transfer Bitrate
[ 5] 0.00-10.00 sec 194 KBytes 159 Kbits/sec sender
[ 5] 0.00-10.00 sec 65.0 KBytes 53.3 Kbits/sec receiver

All the machines respond to ping inter vlans, I can mount smb/nfs shares from Truenas on the iMac but are very slow, can't copy files on Truenas
Changed Core with Scale, the same problem.

Thank you!

On what hardware are you running pfSense? This is likely your bottleneck.

How is the CPU utilization on the pfSense box under maximum load? Have you tested with things like intrusion detection disabled?
