Single 905p as slog

Hey guys I think I may have gone ahead with this without considering failure,
Not many places I have come across whilst researching have outlined I should get two of these
But Truenas is advising against it when I go to add to my pool as a slog vdev

"A stripe log vdev is highly discouraged and will result in data loss if it fails"

Whats your thoughts will it be fine? what are others doing?

I'm using a single log device. I think that a mirror vdev is recommended.
