SickRage plugin issues after update ...

Yesterday I noted that my SickRage plugin was telling me I was 2 commits behind and that I should update. After performign the update everything went straight to hell. File locations were wrong, file permissions were wrong , the system was unable to create directories, and the error logs started to fill up.

- Is this normal ? Are the configuration files wiped out with each update ?
- Is there only one supported version as a plugin, and should you NOT update ?
- " fixes " like CHMOD 777 are not acceptable to me. Sorry.

Hi, no this is not normal behavior.
Did you update the plug-in from the plug-in page or did you update the Sickrage app from within Sickrage? As you speak of commits I suspect the latter and Sickrage itself b0rked up.

As for fixing this, don't go chmodding or chowning around, just roll back to a snapshot and try the upgrade again.
