Shell broken after update

My original Scale host has been running the nightlies for some time. I cleaned out the old versions from my boot list so there's no fall back (I know now that was dumb).

But somewhere along the way, my shell started displaying this box at the top of the shell screen:

Once a few lines have been displayed the text goes "out of bounds":

Is there any way to fix this?

What’s wrong is that the text goes off the bottom of the screen. The white box with the blue border seems to have no function. Overall, the shell screens basic behavior changed and not for the better.

You can always file a ticket for it. But better would be to forget that button exists (it's been nothing but trouble as long as I can remember, and I've been using this for quite some time) and use SSH instead.

Ok... SSH does work better for me here.

I would guess that your console footer is over it. maybe try turning that off?
otherwise, ya, the webUI shell is pretty pathetic. on a 1440p...you get like 600x400 anyway. pretty hard to use.
