Share NFS rw to one host, but ro to all others

Hello everyone,

I would like to know what the recommended method of sharing a dataset is with the following scenario:

5 Hosts - A, B, C, D, E. A should be allowed rw access, and B, C, D, E should only be allowed ro access. This is possible using exports, but I am unsure how to do so in FreeNAS.

Any ideas?

Did you try adding several nfs shares with a ip in hosts allow and setting the appropriate r(w) permissions?

You can then open a shell and see unter /etc/exports what the gui did :)

I think others had recommended against that in the past, but that is the only way I can think to do it.
