Hi everyone,
I'm new about freenas, but i spend a lot of time on this for setting up afp privileges for 2 user but i don't have any results.
My configuration is:

User/Group:
User1/home uid 1001
User2/home uid 1002

Dataset:
User1 with windows/mac privileges, not unix, Permission set: "user1" and group "home"
User2 with windows/mac privileges, not unix, Permission set: "user2" and group "home"

Share AFP:
User1 that point at dataset "user1"
User2 that point at dataset "user2"

This combination works, but when I get info on file in osx I see unknown user.
Why?
Thank you!
I hope you help me!

The get info gets its user and groups from the local client machine, and you dont have a user with uid 1001 or 1002 on the your local client.
You have 2 options:
1. Leave it as it is using local credentials, and ignore the info from get info. Trust it as it is.
2. Setup LDAP or AD server and convert your local user and client into a directory environment.
Guess what is the most easy solution. ;-)
