As per a FreeNAS KB article, I have set up SSH tunneling for my connection, but wonder - should I instead use HTTPS? (SSL instead of SSH, as I understand...?)
If so, my big question - how? It's still not clear to me...
You can turn on HTTPS under "Settings -> General -> Protocol". There's no reason not to, but you might have to specify https://younas instead of just http://.
Now - should I combine this with SSH? I tried using my previous SSH script (that worked on the normal, non-secure http) and it didn't work with https. Are they incompatible, or do I just need to dig deeper?
