Hi

I typically a Linux and Windows user but decided to switch my home server (amahi) to FreeNas but the issue is I need a DHCP and DNS server. So I thought it would be great if I could install Amahi (based on Ubuntu) in a jail.

I have search for the past day on installing Ubuntu in a FreeNas Jail but for the life of me I cannot find any instructions on installing Linux in a Jail or let alone Ubuntu.

Is what I'm wanting to do possible or have a got the whole Jail thing wrong?

As a follow-up, this feature will be available in 9.2.0.

I have an Ubuntu jail running at the moment.. It's the base template..I wanted to install Hamachi but the jail isn't LSB3.0 compatible.. I'll take another look upon official release of 9.2.0.

Another caveat is that Linux jail support is 32-bit only, meaning that 64-bit apps won't work inside the jail.
