Server dosent boot from ssd

Hello,

I have a Proliant dl380e gen 8 server with a hba card. On boot the hba detects the drives correctly but dosent want to boot from the ssd that I have connected. I have updated the ilo and rom of the server with no luck. Is there any fix?

Update: Whenever I remove my 3 storage drives from the server it works, but when I add them back I doesn't boot anymore.

I found the solution but it is not quite what I want. I moved the boot drive from the boot slots at the back to the front. Doing this does limit my capacity that I can fit in the server but it is "fixed". It seems like there is a priority of slots on this server. I have tested the boot drive slots at the back and they do work.

If anybody knows the proper fix for this it would be appreciated.
