I have searched the forums for a few hours now. Can not seem to find if Freenas will work on the Serenity Desktop.
It has a ASUS Prime A320M-K AM4 mother board and AMD Ryzen 3 2200G 4-Core with VEGA 8 Graphics CPU.
Got it at a good price but I don't want to try and not get it to work. Would anyone know?

Well that's a desktop class system and not server class hardware by any means. I know FreeNAS had some issues with the new ryzen CPUs (FreeBSD did not support them yet). The VEGA 8 will do nothing as FreeNAS does not support GPU acceleration for anything and it cant be passed through to a VM. This will also be running standard non-ECC memory. Generally this is advised against but it will still run justy without ECC protection of data "in flight". The board only has 4 SATA ports and one NVMe slot. This leaves little room for growth. There is no call-out for the network chipset so its likely realtek (poorly supported low end). You also make no mention of the RAM, FreeNAS requires 8GB to run correctly and while I would hope this PC came with that much, I wont assume.

It may "work" but I would not trust it as a 24/7 NAS with any important data.
