I get my security run email regularly and Ive noticed that every email has this message

> arp: 192.168.1.111 moved from 02:76:e0:00:0b:0a to 6c:0b:84:08:4b:81 on epair4b
> arp: 192.168.1.111 moved from 02:25:d0:00:0a:0a to 6c:0b:84:08:4b:81 on epair3b

Im not sure what this means?

Running 0.9.3 on TS-140 in RaidZ2. Have a Plex and MineOS jail.

Thanks!

We get this forum post like twice per month.

This generally happens when the user has a "range extender" or multiple wi-fi access points or multiple routers in the house/office, and a device moves from one to the other. As this mimicks a type of network hack, the security output reports it.

And if you dont have any of that? I have a single access point for my network.

well it's definitely network related of some type. What are the details of your network configuration? What devices have the listed MAC addresses?

Does .111 have both wired and wireless interfaces?

There is a sysctl command around here somewhere that disabled this annoying behavior. I'm running it.
