Security issue?

On my freenas machine it is possible to hit 9 to enter the shell. You then immediately enter the shell as root and have access to the entire machine. This is a bit less than desirable. Can this feature be disabled, or at least be password protected?

Uncheck "Enable Console Menu" in System -> Settings -> Advanced.
