I have one FreeNAS 8.2 server on my network (for text document storage) and I am planning on adding a second (for family photo storage). They will be, of course, on different IP addresses. Do I need to name them differently or do something else to prevent any conflicts when accessing the two servers?

And different IP's. @NASA, I have 3 of them on my network.

You must be setting up really small NAS's if the one you have can't handle text documents and photos on one NAS. At first glance, I can't see how you can even fill one 2TB HDD with that content.

Thanks. I had built a single 1 U server to go in a 19" rack cabinet; it handles only two 2.5" drives because of size limitations. I later built a second unit, just like the first. On hindsight . . .
