First real review (I'm kinda expecting JonnyGuru's on Monday and Tom's Hardware should have one soon, too).

• Fantastic stability, on par with the latest X-Series
• Ripple is phenomenally low, without resorting to in-cable capacitors
• Transient performance is merely okay, but definitely well within specs
• They caved in to the glorified sleeve bearing circlejerk and switched to a crap Hong Hua FDB fan from the excellent San Ace they used in all X-Series units, except for SnowSilent (and fanless)

The last point really bugs me and feels like a serious regression. If they really wanted to appease the FDB crowd, they could have tried to find something better. Or just said "screw it, we're engineers and our PSUs are damned quiet without this FDB crap".

I mean, the fans on the X-Series are essentially inaudible compared to literally every other fan in the system. I hope they don't quickly phase out the X-Series, because I have zero interest in downgrading from San Ace to Hong Hua.
