Howdy folks,
I got a bunch of old Sky Boxes i took the drives out of, All drives are 500GB Pipeline Drives on the Label it has Seagate Video 3.5 HDD. I took formatted every single drive on my workstation but the issue im having is the drive does not get detected in my Hotswap bays on my Storage Server. I have 12 Hotswap Drives, 6 NAS Drives for Storage and 4 Constellation Drives for iSCSI. When i plug these 500GB Drives into a SATA Connecting via a SATA cable instead of the SAS cable the drives get detected and hotswap works. Would anyone have any ideas? i did try looking for a firmware update but no updates available.
