[SCALE] Won't Boot: middleware is not running. Press Enter to open root shell.

I'm getting pretty frustrated, as this is the second time this has happened this week. Earlier today, I turned off my system to upgrade the GPU inside, to mess with some PCI passthrough with VMs. When I plugged everything back in and powered it up, I noticed that it was taking forever for the web GUI to come up, so I flipped to the input on my TV and got the message "middleware is not running. Press Enter to open root shell." I had this issue earlier this week after updating to Bluefin, and I couldn't find anything on it, I just decided to re-install Scale. Now it's happened again. Is there a solution to this? Is anyone else having this issue?

I apologize for not uploading any logs, is there an easy way to grab them so I can share?

I've come to the conclusion that the boot drive was bad. I'm unsure if this is the actual cause of this issue, but it's what I'm going to go with for now. Does anyone have a recommendation for a boot drive with a long lifespan? Thanks!

Don't use a thumb drive.
