[SCALE] Install .deb packages so that they stay after update

Hey,
I am a monitoring/linux admin.
I have a own setup for my servers at home (proxmox and truenas) which i monitor with checkmk. I already have snmp enabled, but cmk needs its own agent for some plugins to work.
I can generate the custom agent with cmk.
But is it possible to keep the agent installed, after i install a new version?
Or is my best option to tinker with a cronjob, which uses scp and apt install via ssh?
I would also love to keep ncdu, which i reinstall after every update...

TrueNAS is an appliance, so count on everything you install in base system to be wiped out at next upgrade.
