Greetings,

I am looking to request an official IX application for SteamCMD game servers. ICH777 did a fantastic job of making something available for Unraid and I'm wondering if IX would be able and willing to port something over that is similar. He set it up so that you can specify where the server files are located, which is a must to have outside of the ix-applications folders as all gamers will need to have access to the server files for the purposes of server settings and game mods.

https://github.com/ich777/docker-steamcmd-server

What he apparently missed though, was the game version. For that reason, I would think a port of Vinanrras Steam games might be better.

Thanks!

I’m not sure if IX has an official application for SteamCMD game servers. However, you can install and use SteamCMD on Ubuntu Linux at SkySilk or on your own game server by installing SteamCMD as a prerequisite.

I've done this in the past, and more recently tried some of the truecharts apps (that they won't fix).
