Samba Shares Not Working For Non AD Users

I have joined my Truenas 12 box to my local AD and can see all my AD users & groups ok, AD users can connect to shares no problem.

Since enabling AD I can no longer connect to shares from non AD users. If I go to a share, it asks for credentials, then says they are wrong even though they are right & the user definitley has access via the ACL.

Any help would be appreciated...thanks.

Found the answer on another forum post...apparently need to prefix truenas netbios name...oops

SOLVED - Windows Shares/Active Directory Issue

I have a local user on my Freenas 11.3RC1 called johnv and used this for an ACL for a windows share. It was all good and could access the share okay with no problems. I then added my Active directory under Directry Services which also has a user called johnv. Both users showed in the users list...
