Samba and Plex

I have a dataset i access from windows with samba - works fine.
I have Plex installed and it have fine access to it's own dataset with homevideos - works fine.

Instead i want my dataset plex to get access to the samba dataset.

Now i have the samba share as backup for my homevideos - and i have to make an extra copy to the plex dataset and i want to avoid double data.


Hope you understand what i mean in my bad english

why don't you just stop your plex jail .. add whatever mount points to your samba share and then relaunch plex and add the new library like you did for your "home videos'?
