rw and ro exports

i'm wondering if the state of the art as progressed such that it's possible to export rw to some hosts/networks and ro to others. if it's possible the gui doesn't make it seem so. it's already been asked (and answered here: https://www.truenas.com/community/threads/nfs-share-ro-rw-to-select-clients.62864/) but as it's a few years old and closed i'd see if it's possible now.

in reading another question (Unable to add RO and RW client to NFS share - 11.3) it looks like this can be accomplished by editing /etc/exports directly but as i'm brand new to truenas i'm not sure if that's wise -- i wouldn't want my edits overwritten by changes in the gui.
