Running vps as or ?

I am thinking of turning the server into vps hoster. Running proxmox.

So simple question i suppose freenas as vps under proxmox, Or run proxmox under freenas ?

Ok took me a while to get back to this. But yea proxmox not then. what would be recommended in my case i am preparing to place there server in rack hosting its way to expensive to hang 2 servers especially when this server is perfect capable of run a vm or 2. Taking this into consideration would i be forced to use the vm abilities from freenas ?

No, if you choose your stuff wisely, it is stable under ESXi. ESXi is free too.
