hi all,
I have some question about configuring rsync in freenas.
while configuring the rsync task, I believe we start by defining an rsync module, in the "Add Rsync Module". the configuration asks for the path, what path is this? I.e. there are two choices here:
a) the read-from-this-path, and write to somewhere
OR
b) the path or storage area to be written to, i.e. write-to-path?
Which one is this?
The other has to do with the "Add Rsync Task"
What is the difference between the pull vs. push?
I am not using it for remote hosts, but from one media to the other. Unfortunately, my rsync -r in a cron job does not seem to be working, ideas?
