So we have a issue where our Cisco switch is complaining about flapping because the MAC is the same, we are using Round Robin for this. This shouldn't be a issue normally no? From what I know of round robin one physical address for two NICs. So Im not sure how this would be a issue here. We basically had a point where the Switch was over-loaded and rebooted and I want to make sure this shouldn't have been the cause. From my understanding the switch shouldn't have even known the differences on the NIC's as it should have only been visible to the one bonded nic.

Best guess the switch will need some kind of configuration. Any reason why you're using round-robin opposed to loadbalance or LACP?
