Please forgive a total lack of familiarity with the OS, but I got dropped into a situation and trying to help family.
My brother-in-law lost his brother to cancer recently. I was asked to help retrieve personal photos and docs from the computers he used. Unfortunately, all system access information passed with him.
One of those system boots to -
"This is a FreeNAS data disk and can not boot system. System halted."
He had quite the computer backed A/V and gaming system in place with a mix of Windows and Linux computers. I was able to retrieve all from Windows based systems but am over my head with this one.
Any help with the FreeNAS system would be greatly appreciated. Looks like time to learn a new OS.
