Hi All,

This may or may not be a problem... so i had a bad drive so I replaced and am currently doing a resilver. i decided to check the stats on the drives doing a systat -vm.

i noticed that one of the drives %busy indicator is just nothing at all, 0, the rest are all between 40-50 and the one drive thats being written to is at 65%. Is something wrong or am I missing something?

da6 is on break??? Cigarette time? Something about how raidz2 operates?

Do you even have 6 drives in your volume?

I show SSDs ada0-1 and HDDs da0-da8 disks but only have 8 HDDs

So my stats show a drive da8 that is not there strange but true

I do for sure, it shows really random/light usage from time to time... its pretty weird, slightly concerning...

I'm going to guess that your Boot Drive is attached to your HBA? That looks like normal boot drive activity.

edit: While I was typing this you said you do have only 6 drives so that answers it. da6 has to be your boot drive. da0-da5 is your 6 drive pool.
