Reset Configuration then upgraded from 11.2 to 11.2U4.1. Pools and data are fine, but disks don't show under storage/disks

Basically I ended up installing a brand new 11.2u4.1. It didn't show my disks. I had to unplug my disks boot up then shutdown. Plug in my disks boot up and then I was able to import my pool. On the dashboard it shows my disks, but says disk details not available. When I look under storage/disks there are none. What is up?

Multipath? If not, which controller?

Marvell 9230 sata3 and Marvell 9172 stat3. FYI the disks showed up fine before the reset.

FYI when I try to turn on s.m.a.r.t. : freeness smart[9684]: Configuration file /usr/local/etc/smartd.conf parsed but has no entries.

I'm ok resetting everything as long as I don't lose the data on my disks. I already did this once so I'm not sure it will help unless I did something wrong.
