Replication task resets when restarting both servers

Hi everyone,

I have two Freenas servers running the stable 11.2 U7. One server has a replication task to the other one, that runs everyday. When both servers are up it does incremental replication update everyday and it's fast. The problem is if I reboot both servers then the replication task resets and starts from scratch, and it's about 40TB so that's few days of replicating, which impact performances of both the servers. Do you have any ideas what is causing that?

Thank you,

Octave

that sounds like a config issue. are you SURE your "it's fast" replication is working as you think it does? without screenshots of the settings it's hard to do much more than guess, but it sounds like you are interrupting the replications, which do not as of yet has the ability to resume.
I have misconfigured replications such that it would overwrite snapshots and thus never replicate properly, but also the only indication was that it never finished replicating.
