Replaced drive didn't change partitions

I recently replaced a drive as the previous one was failing. I watched a youtube video that just basically said click the replace button and click "force" if there is data already on there. I did that and it finished resilvering but the partitions on the drive haven't changed. I am running my TrueNAS on proxmox and have directly passed through the drive to the VM. Do I have to wipe the drive and resilver it again to get the right partitions? If so how do I do it.

That configuration is not supported. You must pass thru the disk controller.

If I decide to pass through my HBA to truenas, would I lose all my data? I already have the drive passed through with the serial number but idk if it will recognize it when passing through the disk controller.

If it is the same HBA and no hardware raid is involved you should be fine, but you do have a backup don't you ?
