replaced and onlined disk shows unformatted or unknow

I recently replaced a hard drive with the command : zpool replace VolMgmt ada4
The zpool status command shows my ada4 is already online, but when I go to disks-management, I saw the file system is Unknown or unformatted. Any idea?

You follow the documented drive replacement procedure as outlined in the user guide for your version of FreeNAS.

Hi Sremick, I read the document and did not find how to add zfs drive. Any idea?

There is no method, GUI or CLI, to add a ZFS drive. There is a documented method to replace a drive in section 8.1.10 of the manual (doc.freenas.org).
