I somehow managed to make a stupid misstake in the gui today.

I was in the way of adding a spare disk and a third raidz2 vdev off 6 disks to my existing pool of 2 6disk raidz2 when i instead of adding a spare added a single drive to my pool

So now i have my data striped across 2x 6disk raidz2 and a single drive.
Is there a way to replace the single disk with my third raidz2 vdev?

I guess not, but i thougt i ask before i destroy the pool and start tranfering data from backup.

Thanks in advance // Erik

Nope. The only solution is to destroy your pool and restore from backup. :(

Ok thanks!
I guess there is no option to make the pool redundant again in any other way?

I have plans to recreate the pool anyhow, but i wantet to test and play around with encryption and freenas 9.x.x a little more before doing so.

From the CLI you can turn that single-disk vdev into a mirrored vdev so you have some redundancy.

Ok, That would be great!

Do you have the command how to do it? But i guess i can find it somewhere in an old thread.

Then i have another problem, i tried to offline and remove my log ssd's in the gui, to temporary free some sata ports but it seem to be unable to do that for me.
(This mashine is still on 8.3 everything was working great and verry reliable untill my little misstake so i havend realy found a reason to uppgrade)

This is what my zpool status vol1 looks like:

Code:
  pool: vol1
state: DEGRADED
status: One or more devices could not be opened. Sufficient replicas exist for
the pool to continue functioning in a degraded state.
action: Attach the missing device and online it using 'zpool online'.
