Hello,
I'm using Freenas Corral. ( I'know I should not, I'm waiting to have full docker support in 11 before migrating!) I have Raidz1 pool that had a drive failure. I did replace de drive but I accidentally, drag (in the gui) the new drive in the pool. Now it's like I have a degraded pool with a stripe drive. I can not figure out how to delete the drive from the pool and just replace the failed drive in my raidz1 pool.
Help is needed...
I'm including a screen shot.

Martin

Then you didn't replace the drive, you added a new drive to the pool. That action is irreversible. Back up the data, destroy the pool, and recreate it correctly.

Not possible. Backup data, destroy the pool and rebuild from backup.

Once you add a drive, it cannot be removed. You alternatively could add another drive and then turn the stripe into a mirror. It that still wouldn't solve your degraded problem.

Unfortunately you cannot undo adding the single drive to your Volume.
You must now save your data to other storage, destroy your volume
and rebuild it properly. I recommend saving a copy of your configuration
before proceeding and take inventory of your disks (serial numbers) so
when you rebuild your new volume, you don't reuse the drive that is bad.

For future reference see below, and please note that ada1 in the scenario below,
was mounted as a spare disk in the machine.
