Removing a Drive from freenas ZStripe

Hi,

After much searching I'm yet to find a solution.

I've oversubscribed to the amount of storage i need, simply put i want to remove a drive from a Zstripe, how is this done without destroying the data on the rest of the array?

Either it's somthing simple, or impossible, eitherway, please could i have some help.

you cant change the amount of drives in a vdev in a zpool. you can't lower the amount of stripes in a zpool. That is without having to reload all your data. So I believe what you want to do is impossible.
