remote sickrage, transmission and couchpotato access?

Hi,

I'm very new to freenas and just finding my way. I have recently instaled the sickrage, transmission and couchpotato plugins which I find awsome.

I am able to access these via my android phone too but only under my LAN. What I would like to do is gain remote access to these plugins. I have conducted some research but only with a few out of date guides which haven't helped.

I was wondering how I could go about this and would it be better and more secure to do this via a web domain and make use of some of the free ssl services out there?

eg a mydomain.com/sickrage - which would take me to my sickrage interface etc

Set up a VPN server and dynamic DNS on your router, and an appropriate VPN client on your phone. None of those services are designed to be exposed to the open Internet.
