Registering for FreeNAS' Redmine: what happens to my personal data?

I'm considering registering on FreeNAS' Redmine so I can make bug reports. However, what's holding me back is the requirement of entering my first and last name because it is not clear what they will be used for and to whom they will be visible. I'm fine with them only visible to developers, but other than that I try to keep my personal details off the public Internet as much as possible and especially would not want them to show up in combination with a nickname that I use in various places.

Can someone give me some more details about this?

First and last names can be whatever you want. They don't have to be real. Mine aren't.
