refreshing UI returns to different page

Does refreshing most pages in the UI take others to a different page? For me:

1) Press cmd/ctrl-R
2) Truenas reloads on login screen
3) After a hot second it refreshes to the dashboard

Why is this? Is this a bug?

well, it seems to work for SCALE. However if my initial page is "Reporting" i am forwarded to the Dashboard. So not consistent.
And if i browse to another TAB on the "applications" page it is reset to the first tab.
