Like many I boot FreeNAS off a USB stick, unfortunately, the cold and salt have gotten to my USB witch sits externally on my server's frame, while I work on finding an internal solution, my USB drive has failed, and is dead, unreadable, diagnosis shows that the onboard BEC shorted, I doubt data is recoverable.

All of my HDDs and SSDs are still functional, and I've heard that I'm able to rebuild my FreeNAS installation as long as I have all of these. But I don't know where to look, and I can't find anything in the manual.
I have one backup iso file from a few years ago that was made on accident.

Just creat a new boot device and start your sever. If you have a backup config you can upload that if not too will have to import your old pool and configure your shares again.

Stop updating. Just use whatever version you want.
