Usually I can spend a while to figure these things out through Internet searches but I cannot find anything on this, maybe I am searching using the wrong terms. Anyway...

I had to re-install FreeNas from scratch on my server. I managed to re-connect the volumes OK but I am having problems connecting to the existing Jail that I had Plex installed on. I believe once I FreeNas is connected to the Plex Jail then I could re-install Plex to it? Could someone point me in the right direction?

Thank You

Upload your config file or if you didn't back it up just set the GUI to have the right jail root.

Thanks for the replies. However I did save the config but when I loaded the config file, not much worked.
When I try to set the Jail Root, I get the message "Jail dataset created on a share" and I still cannot connect to the jail.

If you have an NFS or SMB share on the dataset or the parent dataset, you will need to remove the share temporarily to configure the jails location. You shouldn't share out the jails dataset at all, but if you share the main volume out, it will share the jails too.
