Reccomendations Concerning Disk Filling

Hi everybody,

Thanks for all your replies. I just need to know at which % I need to stop to fill my disk. depasseg saids to keep 100 GB free, this is valid too for a 8 TB drive? Should I need to keep more free space since I use a 8 TB drive.

you were already told that going over 80% is not good, and filling it more than 95% has the possibility to cause irreparable damage to your data.

if you set a reserve, set it for 10% of the drive total size...that insures that you do not go over 90%. It is basic math at this point.
