[Rant] Mass PM for help is not cool

I'm know I'm not the only one, because a few of us received a private message asking for help from a new user on the forum. I don't mind receiving them about how-to's or resources I've previously created, or if somebody has a one-on-one question they want to ask on topics I've replied, however what I do mind is users mass PMing for help on unrelated subjects. This is not cool. I left the conversation as soon as it started. You don't ask for help this way.

If you're new to the forum; Welcome. Please make use of the Help & Support boards, read the forum rules, make use of the resources available, contribute, etc. however please do not mass PM members of the forum for help. We're not your personal help desk.

If you need help with something, please post it openly, you're more likely to get a quicker and positive response.
