Ram prod vs backup

Hi, I currently have a dell t20 with 12gb of ram (8gb + 4gb) I ordered a second dell t20 to be my backup. I also have 12gb available to me. Should I put 16gb in my main one and 8gb in my backup or should I made them equal and be 12gb each?

My dell t20 will both have this Pentium G3220 3.0ghz

My main has 4x2tb hard drive in a Raidz2

My backup will have 4x1tb in Raidz2 (I won't backup everything)

If your backup is only that -a backup target, and you are using your main system somewhat, I would suggest putting 16GB in production and 8GB in backup. That's what I would do if they were my systems.
