Hello everyone!

I have a couple of (hopefully simple) questions I was hoping someone here could answer.

After reading the Hardware Recommendations document:

- I bought a Dell H310 HBA to replace my I/O Crest 4 port Sata controller.
- I'm 90% sure I flashed it correctly to IT mode

Code:
mps0: <Avago Technologies (LSI) SAS2008> port 0xe000-0xe0ff mem 0xf7d40000-0xf7d4ffff,0xf7d00000-0xf7d3ffff irq 16 at device 0.0 on pci1
mps0: Firmware: 20.00.07.00, Driver: 21.02.00.00-fbsd

- I connected 5 drives to the HBA and they are showing up as da0-da4

I understand the high level reasons why the HBA is awesome and why the Sata controller was an accident waiting to happen.

So now that I've made the change....

1) Is there anything in the TrueNAS webGUI that I can do now regarding these drives that I couldn't do before?
(SMART test? see specific drive details?)

2) Is there a way to confirm that the HBA setup is correct?
(Motherboard sata drives are ada#, but the HBA drives show up as da#. Is that good? Does that mean its working?)

Looks good.
Motherboard and HBA should show up as different drive ID's - thats correct
SMART etc is likley to be more accurate.
