R820 H310 IT Mode - No boot device available

• R820 E5-4620x2
• 256G RAM
• 8 1TB Drives
• H310 RAID Card

Flashing H310 IT Mode
Followed this documentation to flash my H310. I also did the optional step of flashing boot image.

BIOS recognizes boot and shows the following information in boot sequence
HDD: RAID Controller in Slot 7: #0200 ID0C LUN0 Seagate ST900MM0 CLAR9

During boot it displays that 8 supportable devices are present for system boot selection

sda, sdb, sdc, sde, sdf, sdg, sdh
When I am installing TrueNAS and in the drive selection screen I see
sdf ST900MMO CLAR900 zfs-"boot-pool" -- 840 GB
other drives are like
sda ST900MMO CLAR900 -- 840 GB
So I installed TrueNAS on sdf
And when I boot, there's only one selection
#0200 ID0C LUN0 Seagate ST900MM0 CLAR9
But it says no boot device available.

I am going to answer my own question. TrueNAS requires UEFI boot.
