I will soonish. I just took it for a spin one more time, and I confirm that removing servicelb fixes around 90% of grievances i have with the built in k3s system, save for doing something evil on upgrade like wiping the whole state of the node. But as far as I can see the code you're not doing anything like that, will check once I get around upgrading with a new nightly

Thank you @peter.m for experimenting. Can you please create a Suggestion ticket as advised by Morgan ? And it would be great if you could link this thread there and add any other additional information you would like for outlining your use case. I think it would be nice to have proper metallb support instead of the workaround where we disable servicelb provided by k3s and user has to manually configure it ( after of course making sure we have no conflicts).
