Welcome to the real world.

Just the other day, I had the opportunity of looking at an oscilloscope measuring mains power. Yours looks like a nice little sine wave, by comparison. Though it was an electrical machinery lab, so I am not particularly surprised about the distortion.

Don't forget: There's a crapton of equipment, most of it misbehaving (I imagine most wall warts and crummy ATX or similar PSUs seriously distort their own power supply), sharing a common supply generated by a bunch of generators delicately balanced to keep things humming along, fighting steam turbines and variable loads.

All things considered, it's a dammed miracle. And we only notice it when it stops working.

Yep, I just didn't thought a lot about it before. After taking this measurement and thinking a bit, it seems logical it's normal :)

Before that I was thinking about putting the whole house on an UPS, doesn't seems a bad idea after all :D
